After quite possibly the longest and most frustrating wait, I finally managed to access what’s been at the top of my exploration list for quite some years now!

The Art Deco
It’s been a while again for various reasons but my mind has not been off the urbex game at all. So coming back at you with a first, meet what I shal name “The Art Deco”.
The Tindal Centre
Back in the game after a bit of a break from the urbex world and teaming up with the original urbex buddies for the first time in nearly a year! So was a great laugh as always, as well as a semi good explore.
RAF Bawdsey R3 ROTOR Bunker
Yes! Finally! After numerous failed attempts, our opportunity had finally arisen to see the all too well known Bawdsey R3 ROTOR Bunker. It’s only taken three visits and roughly a combined total of 350 miles to finally make it.
The Chinese Pigeon
Passing this place a fair few times in the past and never stopping to take a look, we decided to stop by for a quick mooch after finishing another explore slightly earlier than expected.
Faces Nightclub
After exploring another nightclub in recent months gone by, it suddenly dawned on me that this place has been standing empty for quite some time now and being close by would be well worth a mooch about.
Bollywood Dreams Indian Restaurant
Driving past this place for as long as I can remember and has been on the list of places to explore for just as long, the opportunity finally arose when I spotted new fencing erected around the site. Rumour has it that the place is going to reopen as another restaurant.
RAF Bawdsey
It’s been a long time coming this location, literally being on my list for as long as I can remember being a slight bunker nut that I am. With a date set we set out on the two hour trip to the bunker and although having a good explore on surface level, we were baffled when it came to access into the bunker down to the rather well sealed concrete caps on both entrances, including the air ventilation shaft.
John Gilpin Pub
After memories of passing this place and being dropped off in the carpark back in the college days, seeing the pub boarded up meant it’s been on the list to explore for quite some time.
Beechdale Swimming Centre
Having spotted a few other reports on this place and being not far from the area anyway, we decided to give this place a go and what a result it turned out to be. With a somewhat difficult entry and a slightly messy cut to the hand, we were in!
