Urbex DevilIt’s been a long time coming this location, literally being on my list for as long as I can remember being a slight bunker nut that I am. With a date set we set out on the two hour trip to the bunker and although having a good explore on surface level, we were baffled when it came to access into the bunker down to the rather well sealed concrete caps on both entrances, including the air ventilation shaft.
Not many reports on this one and with a few related bunkers nearby we decided to give them a go. However due to the slightly snowy weather conditions outside and a very close mishap with what turned out to be a flooded ditch instead of a layby we only managed to visit this one bunker.
Unfortunately a a semi failed attempt as the site is now near totally under water and without scuba gear or at least some very good waders, there was no entrance to the tunnels or any rooms at all. With the extent of flooding we cannot imagine it will ever be accessible.
