Having known about this place for quite a few years and taking me an embarrassingly long time to find, despite the obvious name, I finally found myself at All Saints Church.
The derelict remains of St Mary’s and All Saints Church is situated in rural Thundridge, Hertfordshire. Although the building is Grade II listed all that remains is the old stone tower and abandoned graveyard.
These ruins are often known to the locals as Cold Christmas Church, adopting the name of the nearby village of the same name.
Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, undisturbed and forgotten, stands Preistwood Chapel. To this date I am still unable to find any information on this location so all I can say is it’s a stunning undisturbed location, great for a half hour explore… between the hour spent locating it and finding the way back out of course.
