Urbex trips are few and far between these days, so for this old pub to appear while working nearby it’s hard not to jump at it no matter how derpy it is.
Seeing a recent report on this place and searching for something to do during the corona times, this seemed an ideal place to isolate away from the world and enjoy the urbex world.
On a total spur of the moment decision, I decided to explore The Green Man pub after forgetting my camera on a previous visit. Yep, facepalm moment that one was!
Knowing this place was derelict for quite some time and never finding the oportunity to explore after rumors of local authorities using it for training, I was suprised to find nearly every door wide open.
Passing this place a fair few times in the past and never stopping to take a look, we decided to stop by for a quick mooch after finishing another explore slightly earlier than expected.
After memories of passing this place and being dropped off in the carpark back in the college days, seeing the pub boarded up meant it’s been on the list to explore for quite some time.
Without even realizing this place had shut down in 2012 and with the odd few hazy memories from back in my college days, I woke up to a tip off that this place was now accessible. Gathering every detail I could and messaging the usual local explorers, myself and Tiny Urban Exploration were at the site the very same day.
